When beauty comes in contact with madness, the results is suspense left to be revealed and this weekend, all roads lead to the National Theatre as Listowell Productions premieres its maiden motion picture for 2019 titled “Mad House”.
Mad House, a comedy drenched movie talks about mental health and its related issues coupled with the causes and effects of psychological scenarios of our everyday life which makes this very relatable yet fun-packed.
The producer of the film Ola Michael indicated in an interview with Doctar Cann on Happy FM that, what makes this production unique is how original the set for the filmmaking process is as they film at actual locations such as the wards of the Accra Psychiatric hospital.
According to Ola, the film is based on real-life stories narrated by some patients and health officers at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital
‘Mad House’ is packed with many movie stars in the Ghanaian film industry which includes award-winning ace actor Kofi Adjorlolo, Ekow Smith Asante, Jeneral Ntatia, Aweele, Oteele Asafo, Bismark De Joke, Akwasi Boadi, (Akrobeto), Lawyer Nti, Big Akwess, Yw Dabo, Richmond Amoakoh, Jessica Williams and many others.
The comedy-drama movie was directed by talented and experienced movie director Frank Gharbin.
‘Mad House’ premieres first in Accra at the National Theatre on 15th June 2019, with the next train stopping at the Watch and Dine Cinema, Kumasi, on 22nd June, and the next stop at the Center for National Culture inside Koforidua with RED CARPET.
Ahead of the premiere, producers of the much-anticipated film have dropped a teaser to heighten the appetite for the movie on social media.
