Musiga holds national executive debate today ahead of presidential elections

As elections inches closer, the contention is getting more fierce by the hour as various personalities and musicians under the umbrella of the Musician’s Union of Ghana MUSIGA, sets to take in new executives to spearhead the affairs of the union.

To this purpose, a grand debate focused on policies and future of the most cooperative group body in Ghana’s music industry MUSIGA.

The association formed by musicians and for musicians seeks to protect the interest of the Ghanaian musician and also to provide a means of welfare for all registered musicians under the union.

After 8 years of selfless service and dedication to the betterment of the Ghanaian musician and the industry as a whole by the outgoing president, Bice Osei Kufuor popularly known in the entertainment circle as Obuor, it is now time to yet decide who takes up the captain’s arm band to march the music industry and activities of Musiga to victory.

Today at the national headquarters, an instructive debate will be held for executives and aspirants of all levels of positions to relay their policies and respond to matters of utmost importance to the union.

This event will authenticate the campaigns run by the aspirants as they have to make an appreciable level meaning with their administrative running style and leadership capabilities.

The debate put together by Lovemichs Multi Platinum Empire in collaboration with the Musician’s Union of Ghana, MUSIGA) will see 11 industrious and charismatic executives mount the podium for an extensive and brainstorming argument, one that promises to be devoid of personal sentiments and grudge against the other party.

The theme for the Musicians National Executive Debate is “Making Music important for our life and banning music that glorifies violence against national building”.

The executives participating in this epic debate includes Richie Mensah, Bessa Simons, Ruth Benny Wood, Ras Caleb Appiah Levi, Chizy Wailer, Gifty Ghansah, Sylvia Bosompem, Samuel K. Agyemang, Eddie Eyison, Thomas Yawson and Deborah Freeman.
