America’s most decorated female RnB and pop singer Beyonce has finally spilled the beans on the variables she factored into choosing the acts on her forth-coming album.
Dubbed “Lion King”; The Gifted, Beyonce is geared up to set record again with a chart-breaking feat as music lovers across the globe are waiting desperately for the official release.
Beyonce featured diverse and unique music stars on her new album and some top African acts made it on the album.
Among some of the include Nigeri’s Wizkid, Mr. Eazi, Ghana’s reggae and dancehall hitmaker Shatta Wale among others.
One would ask the question about the reasons for which the American singer looked in the direction of Africa this time around.
Especially for Shatta Wale who is a reggae and dancehall singer it will come as a shock to see him on a song with the Grammy award winner.
Well, Shatta Wale has made history as he has proved to Ghanaians that he is the best.
Beyonce speaking on what informed her choice to the likes of Shatta Wale and other African super stars, she explained that she was looking out for the ultimate in the African continent.
“I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa” She stated.
The Lion King; The Gift project is set to be released on Friday, 19th of July 2019.
Since the news of Shatta Wale’s collaboration with Beyonce broke out on the internet, top musicians and celebrities like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and a few others have congratulated Shatta Wale for his success urging him to push forward.
