The Ghana Health Services has indicated that the death toll due to COVID-19 has risen to 2 as the confirmed cases jump to 27.

A report by the Citinewsroom did not, however, disclose the identity of the deceased as it was not stipulated in the statement.

In a statement released by the GHS on their official website, it was revealed that a total of 521 suspected patients according to the Ghana Health Service were tested for COVID-19 by Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR) and Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR).
